The 2 Fitness Machines that Mesh Perfectly With Working From Home

Working out and working from home are both being discussed a lot these days and they are both very important to each other.

To work from home, you will need to find ways to exercise and relieve your stress while working out from the same place you sleep, relax, eat, work, and more. To create a healthy environment for you to work out of, experts highly recommend that you have some workout equipment that will make it easy to meet your fitness goals and live a healthy life.

I’ve worked from home for a while and always complete my most intense workouts at a fitness centre. However, I have seen how important it is to have some fitness equipment on hand at home. It can be a great way to relieve stress, clear your head, recharge your mind, and find a bit of energy to kickstart your motivation. And I have also been advising recently on the use of a virtual office as they provide much needed privacy to those working from home.

From my experiences, here are the 2 machines I think are very compatible with working from home:

The Rowing Machine

The Rowing Machine might be my favorite piece of fitness equipment ever. I love it and have been using it just about every day for the last three years.

The rowing machine makes a positive impact on just about every muscle in your body and provides you with a complete, full blown workout. When done consistently, you’ll be able to strengthen just about every single muscle in your body (from head to toe), become more flexible, be more agile, and just have a stronger body.

An added bonus: you’ll be able to jump into a boat (like a kayak, canoe, row boat, and more) and easily adjust to life on the water. Many people start with the rowing machine and then take it to the water for a little fun.

The Elliptical Machine

No machine has made me sweat more than the elliptical machine. This is the machine I hop on when I’m feeling stressed, need a break from work, and have to get rid of some negative energy.

It gets my blood flowing, takes my mind off of the stress because it is so intense, and really kicks my butt. When I’m done, I feel exhausted and drained, but with a clear mind that is able to focus on what needs to be done.

A word of warning: take your time in getting used to the elliptical machine. It is a tough machine and you can easily take yourself out of commission if you don’t take your time in adjusting to it. Start slow and get used to it before getting too intense in your workouts.

Wrapping Up

The main point you should take away from this article is the fact that, as we work from home, we don’t get a lot of exercise in. Many of us sit in our office chair all day, don’t even get our steps in during a regular commute, and we start to live unhealthy lives.

Not only can working out help with your fitness goals, but it can help (maybe even more) with your mental health. It provides an escape from your work and lets you do whatever you need to do in order to live a healthy, happy life.

I have found that the rowing machine and the elliptical machine are great options for people who work from home because of everything they can provide you with. If you throw one (or both) of these machines into your daily WFH routine, then you’ll be well on your way to living a great life that allows you to work from home effectively and efficiently!
